Day 1:
Chennai – Delhi – Srinagar
Arrival Srinagar around noon. Meet and greet by our representative at the airport & board the van. After lunch in an Indian restaurant, we proceed to Mughal Gardens which is one of the famous recreational places of Mughal rulers during summer season. Visit the Pari Mahal and world famous Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring). In the evening enjoy the Shikara ride in the famous Dal lake and later after an hour, check-in the House Boat. (L,D)
Day 2:
Srinagar – Pahalgam
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam covering a distance of 90 Kms from Srinagar via the Saffron Fields, Awantipora Ruins, Famous Kashmiri Willow Cricket Bat Factories and streams of fast flowing waters with source from melting glaciers. The drive will take approximately 3 hours or more, and at specific points we will have stops to buy pure Saffron, Almonds, Walnuts and other famous dry fruits from Kashmir Valley. Arrival Pahalgam around noon. After lunch, check in hotel around 1400. We proceed to Taxi Stand to board jeeps to visit places like Aru Valley and Betaab Valley, the famous Bollywood movie sites. Explore these places and drive back to Pahalgam for dinner. Overnight at Hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 3:
Pahalgam – Srinagar – Gulmarg
After breakfast, visit some of the beautiful and eye catching sights at Pahalgam either by foot or by pony ride. The Pony Ride will cover at least 4 viewpoints such as Mini Switzerland, Kashmir Valley and Dabian. From here we drive to Gulmarg for a day trip. We will have lunch on the way, and drive about 135 kms (approximately 3 hrs) to reach Gulmarg. Check in hotel. Dinner & overnight at hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 4:
Gulmarg – Srinagar
After breakfast, you can go for the ride in the world famous Gondola Cable Car, which is approximately 2900 mts above sea level, Please note that you will be led to the station by walk where you will enter into a Gondola which will take you to the 1st phase, and also the 2nd phase. On your return also, you will follow the same mode of travel. After returning from Gondola Cable car, have lunch at Gulmarg Restaurant. Later, we proceed to Srinagar via apple, cherry and strawberry orchards. Visit any outlet of handicrafts from Kashmir on the way back to Srinagar. These outlets have the goods at the cost of almost 30 to 40 percent cheaper than the goods available in Srinagar handicraft outlets. Major items of shopping in these outlets are rugs, carpets, shawls, papier-machie, wood carvings and many other items. Check- in hotel at Srinagar. Dinner & overnight at Hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 5:
Srinagar – Sonamarg Valley – Srinagar
Early morning after breakfast, proceed to Sonamarg which is approximately 3 hours drive (95 kms) from Srinagar. Have lunch at Sonamarg hotel and proceed by van or pony to visit Thajiwas Galcier. Walk around the streams and explore the valley either by walk or by Pony. Sonamarg, a very beautiful place surrounded by big and small mountains is a best location for photography and nature lovers. In the evening, drive back to Srinagar. Overnight at hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 6:
Srinagar – Chennai
You are on your own till 12 noon. After early lunch, drive to the airport to board the flight departing to Chennai via New Delhi. Arrival at Chennai around 2200 hrs. Overnight: Hotel. (B)
