Day 1:
CHENNAI – CAIRO
Arrival Cairo airport. After the formalities of “Arrival Visa,” immigration & customs, meet the guide and board the coach. Proceed to a local restaurant for dinner. Check in hotel. Rest of the evening is free for you. Overnight at hotel. (D)
Day 2:
CAIRO
Drive to the Giza Plateau area to see the 3 PYRAMIDS of CHEOPS, CHEPHREN and MYCRENOS and their guardian SPHINX. Visit a PAPYRUS SHOWROOM. Proceed to Old Cairo and visit El-MOALLAQA CHURCH, St. SERGIUS CHURCH and BEN EZRA SYNAGOGUE. Visit the EGYPTIAN MUSEUM and Khan El-Khaleeli Bazaar. Enjoy NILE RIVER DINNER CRUISE. Overnight Hotel. Day 3:
CAIRO – St. CATHERINE
Drive to St. CATHERINE. On the way visit MARAH. The Israelites could not drink the water at this place, because it was bitter. The Lord showed Moses a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became fit to drink. Late evening arrival at St. CATHERINE. Check-in hotel. Interested persons to climb up Mt. SINAI, can assemble at the Lobby (This visit is optional). (B,L,D)
Day 4:
St.CATHERINE – TABA BORDER – BETHLEHEM
Proceed to St. CATHERINE’S MONASTERY, see the BURNING BUSH and MOSES’ WELL. Later, drive to Taba border. Lunch in a beautiful restaurant of a star hotel near the Red Sea. Proceed to Taba border, and cross over to Israel after immigration formalities. Board the coach and after a drive of 5 hrs, reach BETHLEHEM. Check in Hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 5:
BETHLEHEM
Drive to SYLVAN VALLEY, visit The POOL of SILOAM. Proceed to Mt. of OLIVES and visit THE CHURCH OF ASCENSION, THE CHURCH OF THE PATER NOSTER, THE SANCTUARY OF DOMINUS FLEVIT and the GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE. Proceed to Mt. ZION to visit THE UPPER ROOM, THE TOMB OF KING DAVID, THE DORMITION ABBEY and THE CHURCH OF St. PETER IN GALLICANTU. Drive to Bethlehem and visit the Church at the SHEPHERDS’ FIELDS and the CHURCH OF THE NATIVITY. Return to hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 6:
BETHLEHEM
Proceed to the GARDEN TOMB and visit the EMPTY TOMB OF JESUS. Drive to SAMARIA to see the JACOB’s WELL. Later, head to JERICHO to see the ORIGINAL BAPTISMAL SITE – QASR AL – YAHUD, the Mt. OF TEMPTATION, THE REMAINING WALLS OF OLD JERICHO, and the SYCAMORE TREE. Proceed to QUMRAN CAVES and see the DEAD SEA SCROLLS. Enjoy the float in the DEAD SEA. Visit BETHANY, THE EMPTY TOMB OF LAZARUS and St. LAZARUS CHURCH. Overnight: Hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 7:
BETHLEHEM
Enter into TEMPLE MOUNT through the DUNG GATE, see the DOME OF THE ROCK, EL-AQSA MOSQUE, and the WAILING WALL. Enjoy the Sunday Morning Worship Service at St. GEORGE’S CATHEDRAL. Visit St. ANNE’S CHURCH and THE BETHESDA’S POOL. Walk through the VIA DOLOROSA and see THE HOLY SEPULCHRE. Return to Jerusalem to have lunch. Drive to EIN KAREM to visit THE CHURCH OF ST.JOHN THE BAPTIST and THE SPRING of ST. MARY. Time permiting, visit HEBRON. Return hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 8:
BETHLEHEM - NAZARETH
Drive to JAFFA, see St. PETER’S CHURCH and the city of TEL AVIV. Visit the HOUSE of SIMON THE TANNER. Proceed to CAESAREA built by King Herod. See the Theatre, Herod’s Palace and Hippodrome. Drive to HAIFA and visit the CHURCH OF STELLA MARIS. Visit Mahrakka and Megiddo Fortress. View the Valley of Armegeddon and drive to Mt. TABOR the Transfiguration site. Finally, drive to CANA OF GALILEE and visit the WEDDING CHURCH. Check in hotel at Nazareth. (B,L,D)
Day 9:
NAZARETH
Drive to TEL DAN and see Dan Springs. Proceed to PANIAS or CAESAREA PHILIPPI where Peter declared before Jesus Christ, “You are the Christ Son of the living God”. See the HERMON SPRINGS and the BYZANTINE CHURCH. Drive to Golan Heights and see the beautiful view. Visit GERGESENES, and enjoy PETER’s FISH Lunch. Drive to GALILEE and visit the Chapel on the Mt. OF BEATITUDES, THE CHURCH OF THE MULTIPLICATION, THE CHURCH OF ST. PETER’S PRIMACY and CAPERNAUM. Finally enjoy a boat ride on the SEA OF GALILEE. Return to hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 10:
NAZARETH - AMMAN
Check out from hotel and visit the CHURCH at MARY’S WELL, THE BASILICA OF THE ANNUNCIATION, St. JOSEPH’S CHURCH and the Synagoguge Church. Drive to PRECIPICE HILL from where the people of Nazareth tried to push Jesus down the hill. Enjoy a delicious lunch in a Kibbutz. Drive to MOUNT GILBOA and visit Gideon’s Spring. Cross over to Jordan. Proceed to the City of AMMAN. Check in hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 11:
AMMAN
Drive to the Holy Land products Showroom and purchase DEAD SEA PRODUCTS. Proceed to MACHAERUS, the location of the imprisonment and execution of JOHN THE BAPTIST. Drive to MOUNT NEBO from where the Lord showed Moses THE PROMISED LAND at a distance. Prceed to MADABA where you can see the Holy Land Map in Mosaic on the floor of ST. GEORGE’S CHURCH. (B,L,D)
Day 12:
AMMAN – CHENNAI
Check out from hotel, drive to the airport via ABDUN, the New Amman where you can find rows of villas, and mansons of the rich. Once in the airport, you get the boarding passes for your 2 flights. After immigration formalities board the FLIGHT departing from Amman. (B)
