KUSADASI – PAMUKKALE

Drive to Pamukkale, passing through EGIRDIR LAKES and BEYSEHIR. Visit HIERAPOLIS, which was a cure center founded around 190 BC. It was here where PHILIP the disciple WAS MARTYRED. Visit the Theatre, which is a 2nd Century Roman style building. You can see the travertine basins of Pamukkale, known to Turks as the COTTON FORTRESS. The stunning white terraces have been formed over centuries by streams of hot mineral water flowing down the hillside. Check-in Hotel. PAMUKKALE – CAPPADOCIA

Check out from hotel, and drive to Cappadocia. Visit the Goreme Open-Air Museum, which is full of pink, rose and white tapering columns. These tall free standing cones of stones curve and twist as if pulled from earth like taffy. Others are tall like fairy chimneys. Visit some caves on the cliffs to see Byzantine Frescoes decorating early Christian Churches. Proceed to visit Dervent Valley, Pasabagi Fairy Chimneys and Avanos Village. Check in hotel. CAPPADOCIA

Proceed to visit Kaymakli or Derinkuyu Underground City, carved out of rock and completely self contained. More than 200 people lived on each of the seven floors with the last one 250 feet underground. See the citadel of Ortahisar and the Old Cavusin Village and its Cave Houses. After lunch, go on a walking tour of Red Valley and a visit to Urgup Wine House. Later, visit the Pigeon Valley and the Natural Citadel of Uchisar. Dinner and overnight at hotel. (B,L,D)

Transfer to the airport of Keyseri to board the flight to Istanbul. Arrival Istanbul Airport. Enjoy the traditional Excursion of Bosphorus by boat along the waterway separting Europe and Asia. Visit Dolmabahçe Palace and imperial pavilions of Yildiz Palace. Start exploring the old city of Istanbul. Visit the magnificent Topkapi Palace Museum. Gain a fascinating insight into this grandiose complex of buildings. ATHENS

Start the City tour which includes the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Panathenaic Stadium followed by an extended visit to the Acropolis and the Parthenon the Magnificent Temple Built by the Athenians around 3000 B.C.. Kusadası:Today is devoted to the beauty of Greek seas and Greek Islnds. Transfer to Pireus port and embarak upon a cruiseship. The first stop is Hydra Island, a quiet island with old traditional stone houses. The 500 hundred years of history will unroll in front of you. Next visit will be the tiny beautiful Island of Poros. Visit this enchanting town and walk by the citrus trees and windmills. You can enjoy an open buffet and folklore programme on board!
